What does Speakest actually do?
Listens to you talk, transcribes, analyzes patterns — tone, fillers, heavy phrases — and gives you warm reflection plus practice games to rewire habits you'd rather change. Coach and mirror, not editor.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Runs in your browser. Chrome and Edge have the best speech recognition. Native apps coming late 2026.
Do you listen to my recordings?
No. Audio never leaves your device. Speech-to-text happens locally. Only the text transcript is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis when you press Finish & Reflect, and it isn't retained there.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Anthropic's API doesn't train on customer inputs by default.
Is there a free tier?
Pro is £6/month with a 14-day free trial. Premium is £14/month. We dropped the free tier because the product only works when you actually use it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your account settings. Keep access until the end of your billing period. Full refund within 14 days of first payment.
Will Speakest judge me?
No — that's core to how it's built. No shame score. Warm tone. Honest but never harsh.
